Your first $10k month is an exciting milestone. But what actually happens when we reach it? And what happens after that?

My first $10k month happened when I was energetically ready for my first $10k month. Consistent 5-figure months, on the other hand, took quite a bit more strategic planning, and what gets you ‘here’ to your first $10k month isn’t usually what will take you ‘there’ to consistent 5-figure months.

That’s why in this episode, I’m talking about what to focus on to create your first $10k month versus what to focus on to create consistent 5-figure months.

This isn’t a conversation I’ve heard a lot of business owners talking about, which is why inside Season 2, Episode 1 of Selling Chocolate, we’re diving into:

  • The nitty gritty of what actually went into my first $10k month (& how I felt afterward)
  • How to start creating sustainable 10k months for yourself
  • The temptation to skip ahead and reach “ease” faster
  • The mindset shifts that are required to create that ease and sustainability

I hope you have your notebook or notes app handy, because you will want to take some notes as I help you dive deeper into creating sustainability in your business.

“When I was pre-10k month in my business, I can’t tell you how many hours each day I spent just sitting in front of my computer doing all this random fancy busy work, that didn’t actually need to be done—at least not back then—because I believed that I had to work eight hours a day in order to be successful. And let’s be honest, I often worked more than that. I also did that because, let’s be real, part of me thought that I had to work really hard in order to be worthy of success. So what that practically meant is that I would finish client work, and then I would start thinking about all the other things that someone, somewhere said that I ‘should’ be doing and I would try and get started on every single one of them. The only problem is when you try to do everything you really end up doing nothing.”
