Pam is a full service bookkeeper who specializes in supporting Property Investors and Developers.
After three decades running a well-established practice that was already, in her words, “doing well,” she joined EXPAND because she didn’t have a real plan or even ideas for how to grow it. During her journey through the program, we built each of the six elements of her Sustainable Success System, with a particular focus on Audience, Offers, and Messaging.
Specifically, with the help of Carly, Team WholeCo, and the entire EXPAND program, Pam:
- Identified her high-value niche (even though past attempts at niching never worked!). She soon after got her first client in that niche and went on to bring in several more throughout her remaining months in the program – all of whom will be yearslong, high-ticket clients.
- Learned to systematically price her services so that they are both sustainable for her and her clients (rather than choosing price points almost purely off of what the stated budget of the client was).
- Pinpointed the exact language she needs to use in her messaging and marketing to filter out misaligned clients and filter in true Right Fit, ready-to-buy prospects.
- Established a strategic and authentic structure and ‘script’ for her sales process, inclusive of pre-call questionnaire, so that she can show up as the professional that she is and clearly communicate the value of her work.
- Embraced her true role as a service provider who creates the conditions for client success rather than trying to “make” her clients succeed. In her words: “Since the work of bookkeeping is on my shoulders, that translated for me into making them financially successful, which is way beyond my ability. I can advise, give ideas, be a listening ear. However, in the end, they are the only ones that can make the decisions, big and small, that change the trajectory of their business. I’ve never really thought about it that way before [EXPAND].”
By the end of her journey in EXPAND, Pam had found a high-value niche doing work that she truly loves and is getting paid at a level that provides her the mental space to be truly present with her family and personal life. Not only that, but she’s now able to cover the cost of two mortgages through her business (which came in handy after her husband was unexpectedly laid off!) and is exploring outsourcing some aspects of her work to increase her earning capacity.
As she looked back and reflected on why she chose to step into EXPAND, she shared: “I didn’t really know WHAT I needed or wanted, but I could tell that [the WholeCo] process would take me through a solid process in my business. Of course, I didn’t realize how solid a process that would be!”

These days, I’m loving the clients I’m working with, I’m loving the work I’m doing, I know that I’m bringing high value to my clients. I’m just feeling really good. Before working with you, I had a lot of confidence, but not specifically around ‘why someone would pay me this much money to do this work.’ Now I have a system in place to make sure that I’m properly pricing my services, which has given me more mental space because I know that I’m financially supported. The other day I made two offers to prospective clients and, even though they’d both be great to get, I just don’t care [about their answer]. I don’t have to be desperate for the sale. Even though I’ve been in business for 30 years, I am a different business owner now from when I started EXPAND.”
